JET SETTING RESIDENTS (ROTATING)
DADDY KEV
[Alpha Pup]
Batting first on the Low End Theory lineup is legendary producer and label boss Daddy Kev. As a producer and engineer, he's spent the last decade crafting classics for the likes of AWOL One, Busdriver, The Grouch, Mix Master Mike, Abstract Tribe Unique, D-Styles, Freestyle Fellowship, The Shape Shifters and many more. His DJ sets are a high-tech affair with Kev primarily engaged in live remixes, slicing experimental beats and hip-hop classics to shreds. http://www.myspace.com/daddykev
NOBODY
[Plug Research]
From his adventures on the road with Mars Volta and Prefuse 73, to his production and remixes for Postal Service, Mystic Chords of Memory and Busdriver, coupled with his own solo work on labels such as Rough Trade and Plug Research, Nobody is a living tour de force of creative genius. http://www.myspace.com/nobodyelvin
THE GASLAMP KILLER
[MHE]
Over the course of the last few years, Gaslamp Killer has established a solid rep for devastating beats and intricate cuts. This nomadic West Coaster has steadily smashed the scene from San Diego to Los Angeles to San Francisco, earning the respect of heavyweight players in the process. Bear witness to one of his epic sets and see what the buzz is all about. http://www.myspace.com/thegaslampkiller
D-STYLES
[Funkshitup]
His virtuoso skills on the turntables have been compared to that of Jimi Hendrix and John Coltrane. As a former member of Invisibl Skratch Piklz and Beat Junkies, he toured the globe, helping transform turntablism into a global phenomenon. Now, the legendary D-Styles is back on the frontlines of underground culture, shredding your soul every week at Low End Theory. http://www.myspace.com/djdstyles
NOCANDO
[Alpha Pup]
He's no longer a secret. After winning the 2007 Scribble Jam MC Battle Championship, Nocando has been catapulted to new levels international fame. He spent many Thursday nights honing his skills at Project Blowed, and has broken the dreams and hopes of countless would-be-MCs. http://www.myspace.com/nocando
PLUS LOCAL NYC RESIDENT
ELIOT LIPP
[Hefty]
Laying down a bedrock of notorious breakbeats under his signature Sequential Circuits and Korg MS-20 leads, Eliot Lipp has created a signature sound that has had the electronic music world stuck-on-stupid for the last four years. Eliot's instrumentals pour forth more emotion than most modern-day crooners, and while his beats bang with a gorgeous intensity. Eliot has rocked the original Low End on several occasions, and will be holding down the NYC monthly. http://www.myspace.com/eliotlipp
FEATURED GUESTS: SATURDAY AUGUST 2ND 2008
On Saturday August 2nd, Low End Theory commences for the fifth time in New York City. We are very proud to present a very special engagement starring one of dubstep's founding fathers, the legendary Skream. We're still finalizing the rest of the line-up, so stay tuned for more information. Low End Theory NYC is co-presented by Konkrete Jungle and the Knitting Factory. Do not miss this essential showcase:
SKREAM
[Tempa]
One of dubstep's first and most prominent producers, Skream has played an essential role in the genre's development. As a teenager, Skream worked at Big Apple Records, a Croydon-based record store that was at the center of the early dubstep scene. Skream has released records on a variety of UK record labels, such as Tempa, Tectonic, and Big Apple Records, including a self titled album on the Tempa label. Now he enters the Low End Theory chamber, poised to deliver a set of epic proportions. http://www.myspace.com/skreamuk

Hey Chicken-Heads Check out Theo, He has performed on my show a grip 'O times, but here is our first kitchen session.
Ok I have gotten into debates, sometimes heated (not on my side of course) about this artist. That is a fucking good sign he is changing an old game in a way that is similar to… I dare say, Michael jackson. But I’m not comparing them - but they both have a secret code in their steez that is as unique as a finger print. Just listen to him smash on a vast array of sonic, bass, treble, tempos, frequencies, beats, mainly provided by the magnificent Machinedrum. Then watch him live. FUCK FUCK FUCK. Now watch him mature into what’s to come. Headz up whole world.
