About mass migration

Brisbane instrumental 4-piece Mass Migration recently launched their debut self-titled EP at Red Hill's Lofly Hangar. The band formed in 2006, brought together by a mutual admiration of post rock and instrumental music. The music has been described as dark and sombre in places yet raw and frenzied in others. This is achieved through a collaborative process to songwriting, with the diverse influences of band members melding naturally. From the massive distortion and bleeding feedback of "Ill at Ease", to the shoegazing and raw emotion of "Green", Mass Migration portray a variety of moods and textures, capturing the band's varied influences and backgrounds.
