MATT ELTRINGHAM: Truth Guitar
Truth Guitar is a must have "guitar album" with well crafted guitar riffs, beautiful melodies and clever phrasing reminiscent of Satriani. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Michael Molenda of Guitar Player Magazine writes:
Revving up with distorted volume swells, ..Aviator.. kicks in the burners with a propulsive and biting groove, and then lifts off with some stratospheric harmony lines. And this ..jet.. must be zooming with the Blue Angels, because there are plenty of shred-powered dives, loops, tailslides, barrel rolls, and hammerheads in this track. Eltringham..s tone is saturated, yet steely, and every note is crystal clear. In addition to being a delicious guitarfest, ..Aviator.. is also a well-written, well-produced song.

Matt Eltringham started playing guitar at the age of seven. He grew up playing with his musician brothers and sister and took private lessons. Heard you on WMMR this morning, sounded great! Hope you win, that must be one sweet-ass guitar, good luck with the new band! If ya need some drums, you know who to call...
Happy Holidaze to you, too! Thanks for stopping by and for all you do. Best to you in '08 and beyond. Thanks for being a part of keeping the jams alive and well. You make my job much easier! Rock on, Matt- Peace & instrumental guitar music-Trixi ;-)
Yeah. Afro gone and extra weight. I turned in to my dad.
OMG!!! Fred really did make it big. He always was beyond talented. Good for him. I remember when we were in high school and he would play Neal Peart's licks at 14 years old. Good for him.
Your guitar playing is fantastic. Tone, phrasing everything. Knocked me out dude! Last time we played together was in my basement about 25 years ago. You turned me on to Yngwie and ruined my wrist forever ;)
Keep in touch. I'm in Lancaster. Not too far away from you. Maybe we can meet and do some catching up. You can give me some speed picking lessons;) I've been a blues player for the last 15 years so I can use a kick. Take care bro!
Hey Matt, Yes we are most definately DT fans (can't wait to see them on Friday in L.A.) You have some amazing tunes yourself! It's truly an honor to be on your top 10. Keep Rockin and hope to see you in So Cal sometime.
