Bio

I've been doing cartoons for The New Yorker magazine for several years now, before that I did a bunch of other fun, but insignificant things --mostly comedy or art related. I still sometimes tell jokes and play the banjo in front of perplexed audiences. You can see some of my non cartoon art in the pics area. Sneak Preview for Last Call Claire and I have returned from our 3 month EU& UK tour. So, I just posted a note about what's going on with The Bowmans on facebook... and then I started writing a mass email... and then I decided against it... so I'm doing this instead. Brian Victor C.	Mar 15 2008 7:40 AM I thought you were the funniest at that weird Ann Arbor comedy seminar .Yeah I know it's not supposed to be a funny show . I've been using comedy as a survival tool all my very real 53 years . While I have been a face& body painter for 28 years . I'm getting too old and ugly for the kids at times . So I've been attending stand up comic workshops in AA for at least 3 years . I'm attracted to the challenge of getting more than one person to listen to anything stupidly bizzarre or funny that I might say from time to time . If you didn't notice I was right up front laughing the loudest at your work . It's allways a delight to meet a fellow freak ( i hope you'll accept it as a compliment )
