Miche Suite are a rockin’ roots trio from Perth formed in 2007.
Although describing themselves as a roots act, the trio cannot be pigeonholed into one particular genre - elements of jazz, blues, alt country and even swing find their way into their creative upbeat arrangements, enabling them to boast a sound they can truly call their own.
Led by established singer songwriter Leah Miche, who is known for her on powerful stage presence, intriguing style of song writing and powerful vocals - double bassist Sarah Clare and drummer Matt Wright bring extensive classical and jazz training and solid reputations playing alongside many renowned West Australian and national artists.
The trio have been hosts and headliners for many long running residencies and various events around Perth, including a place in the Grand Final of the 08 Next Big Thing statewide band competition and inclusion on the 09 kiss my Wami compilation cd.
In Dec 2008 - 09, Miche Suite released their long awaited debut EP ‘Where my Nature Lays’ Followed by an extremely successful 3 week tour of WA’s South West which led to an invitation to perform in the Margaret River Food and Wine Fest in April.
Throughout July to Sept 09 the Suite embarked on a ten week, self-funded northern tour from Perth to Broome and are set to record a second EP at the end of the year followed by an east coast tour early 2010.
Miche Suite have a raw distinctive sound delivering consistent, original, high-energy performances not to be missed.

I reckon the wok in a box was pretty cool actually, but I would only ever contradict Hanna online, as she is way too prepossessing to do that in person. As for you Leah, I am never going to do that, even online! So, finally getting to the point, whitch in itself is an interesting phrase, I wanted to let you know that my trio Trigger is having a CD launch on Friday 12th June at the Davialk.
