Hey buddy! G & I were wondering how you were all doing; what's news? I'm in the midst of lotsa music biz stuff at the mo & have just started recovering from a family vacation in sunny Turkey followed by a rainy camping trip in Wales.. Boy, can my kids be exhausting! Off to free concert in San Francisco to see Allen Toussaint and then possible Todd tonight. Smoke from the CA fires has gotten better in SF. Have fun in Canada (throw another shrimp on the barbie !) Never been there but I hear the beer flows like wine.
Dear Lunchbox....hope the album is going well. I'm sure it will be three times gigantic but don't call it that a cuz thats the title of my solo album. I'm singing all Beach Boy tunes. Auto-tune started smoking but I think that means its good.
My friend Steve- the dude that I went to high school with that we did the Ozzy tunes for at Margaritaville- posted a video of us doing "War Pigs" on his myspace page. You should check it out. The audio is a little distorted, but I have to say Tim had your toms sounding HUGE for that little ol' kit. Plus Steve is singing along, which adds a nice touch.
