I am a professional musician with over 10 years of teaching experience, available for lessons in Guitar, Vocals, Songwriting and Music Theory. I'm a graduate of the Musician's Institute in Hollywood and I have toured nationally with my band, opening for B.B. King and other notable artists. I was also awarded the Songwriter of the Year award in 2006 by the San Diego Songwriters Guild and am a member of the Songwriter's Guild of America. I am currently teaching students around the L.A. area, both children and adults. I am most experienced with musical styles such as Blues, Funk, R&B Alternative/Indie rock, Folk and Pop.
I charge $40 per lesson at my downtown loft studio, or $50-$60 per lesson to travel to your location (depends on distance). Lessons are generally 50-60 minutes and geared toward your goals as a musician. I have openings on weekday evenings or during the day on weekends.
