Hey there

Thanks for including us on your friends list. I hope that you liked the songs!

As a Boston radio station said about our first album.........

“This isn't just the best damned drinking album of the year; it's the best damned CD to play before you go out drinking to pump yourself up album of the year”

I reckon it also goes for our live show. So come along one day, see if you can drink us under the table and dance us off of the stage!

Cheers (p.s. the second album is even better!! – some tracks on free download on Myspace )

Hey, guys! Hope things are going well. If you have time this weekend, The Jeremy Kittel Band will be in Tecumseh at TCA both Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, (7:30PM) as our Fiddle Concert Guest Artist. The kids sound fantastic, too -- 7th graders are playing "Hungry Man #1" on Friday night!!! :) Let me know if you can make it!

May 16 show in South Bend was a classic. Still can't believe you lost 110,002 points to 1.

Millish minus 1 was a huge success and it was great to see everyone, especially Andrew. You guys own the Hearth every time you're there. Brad, the new tune is fantastic. I'll send you a vid.

It's going to be a long summer with no Millish in South Bend...

MILLISH doesn't just kick ass, they kick the ass of the ass kickers. Tyler, get ahold of me! The rest of ya'll, I hope you're still being just as rebellious as I expect you would be. Take care, keep IT up.

David Franks: Walkabouts Verse

May 5 2008 6:29 PM

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace -

2 of 230, walkaboutsverse. 741. com: WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN

Once drove an old sedan, up north,
From a place in Sydney to Cairns;
Then to Kuranda I went forth,
By train, to look without set plans.

I browsed through the trendy market,
With fresh fruits of tropical kind;
Walked to the creek through lush thicket -
Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.

I dined in a scenic cafe;
Then, outside, as I wrote for yen,
Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey,
You go walkabout with your pen.”

Request or question, I don’t know -
Assured voices, elderly men.
That’s now several years ago,
And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.

(C) David Franks 2003

76 of 230, walkaboutsverse. 741. com: LAND RIGHTS

If there is a good thing
From the Second World War
It’s that most peoples learnt
To conquer lands no more.

In Africa, Asia,
And the Pacific, too:
Post-war independence -
Steps only bigots rue.

But for some indigenes,
Outnumbered much-too-much,
It has all come too late
For liberty, as such.

So ‘tis in Australia,
And America’s sites,
Where the best now, I think,
Is to respect land rights.
