Having had the experiences of a bustling night life in San Antonio and Austin I found my way to Abilene and my options seemed to dwindle exponentially. I'm not the type(anymore) to make every night or for that matter every weekend an outing, yet, having options open to go do something never seemed a problem.
Thats when I stumbled upon Monks Coffee Shop and found myself in a "Austin" like atmosphere with some live music and a great array of drink choices. This is starting to sound like a plug and perhaps it is.
Thanks Monks! I actually feel like I have somewhere to go.

That’s why we started our own coffee shop. Monks is a place that welcomes the work and conversations that go better with a hot cup of coffee.
