Music	Just received FREE 'Live at the BBC'. Suddenly I'm 17 again and wearing those ridiculous loon-pants with my hair as long as I can get it. This was Kossoff alive and kicking and Paul Rodgers before he went show-biz. We shall never see their like again...

Books	Inside the Peloton - Graeme Fife. Just read it. XLNT. I'm also going through a WW2 kick so read 'Stalingrad' by Anthony Beevor for a thoroughly depressing look at how one man with a silly mustache can screw up the world.
Heroes	HUGH ATTWOOLL- A sweet man, a wonderful drummer and, for the moment, the only Stiff All Star in heaven. Sadly I won't see you when it's my turn as they'll put me in the other place. God speed. IAN WALLACE - Now appearing at the great gig in the sky.
