Hi, this fall we'll be embarking on a US tour with Mt. Eerie, Tara Jane O'Neil, Why? and Karl Blau. We are excited about this, more fall foliage forever. Justin has gone to live in Berlin 'til December with his family, so in the meantime Phil Elverum will be playing drums with us... A new sound. Also, Julia and I will be playing in Mt. Eerie. Loud keyboards, I think. We have a David Horovitz picture disc 7" coming out soon on Oedipus Records, and our next record will hopefully be ready for a fall release next year. See you.

Hello, happy spring everyone. Glad to be home to sunny weather after our trip down south with Parenthetical Girls. Gotta say that we've been missing those guys, and gal a whole lot. Friends forever. Thank you to everyone who came to the shows and to Mariella, Sarah, Yvonne, Jeremy, the Jensen family, Jordan and his fiancee, the Chrichton family, Jan, Nina, Andreas, Daniel, Ramona, George and Colleen for your hospitality. Tour memories can be found in bulk on our brand new FLICKR page. Also, our pal Robby from the terrific PDX group WHAT'S UP? recently remixed "For Halloween" for an upcoming 12". H.N.Y. everybody, it's 2009! No Kids have a plan or two for the coming year, but before we get to that... Nick was commissioned to write a musical for the PUSH Festival here in Vancouver. It will be going up on February 5th & 6th, along with a new piece by Juana Molina and a performance by our pals/future tourmates Parenthetical Girls. It's called "In The Yard, Havin' Fun" and it's going to be performed by a stellar cast of friends! Chis and Nedelle from Cryptacize! Ryan and Duffy from Ladyhawk! Tygh Runyan from The Beans (not to mention, Snakes on a Plane)! No Kids' own Julia Chirka! And Patti Lupone enthusiast Maurina Lioce! Big thanks to Theatre Replacement and Veda Hille for bringing all of this together. We seriously can't wait!

We're back from our Spring european tour in one piece. Thanks to all who came to see us play and to Phil for calling the tour van: the jeep, Julia: Jessica, Justin: Baby J, and me: Nate.
