BIOGRAPHY
Power metal band “Sipario” was born in September 2007 with the purpose to create a music that could be told, performed, represented, as well as listened. A music that could be used to tell the story of love, anger, pain, death and joy, trying to carry all this from instruments to the heart of listeners.
In May 2008, Daniele Tari (piano & keyboards), Alessio Laratta (vocals) and Francesco Ronza (bass), with other musicians, produced a CD-concept - "Scenes from Oblivon" - with seven songs taken from the future full-length and inspired by the story "Oblivion" from the book “Primavera di Aithea" written by Daniele Tari.
The work got a lot of positive criticism and allowed the group to consolidate their presence on national and international broadcasters such as Radiophonica (Perugia - Italy), Radio Basile (Roma/USA), Radio Metal Storm (Connecticut - USA).
Actually the band, with the new drummer, Domenico D'Argenzio, and the guitarist Angelo Mormile is working on the production of the new cd that will be completed in 2010. Some of the new songs of this album will be recorded with the mezzo-soprano Viviana Fiorito as female vocalist.

Besides, Sipario have been chosen by Quickstar Productions (USA) to represent Italy on the compilation Rock 4 Life with the song Morpheus.

HISTORY – ACT I
“Sipario” project was born as “concept” of the two founders Daniele Tari (keyboards) and Armando De Angelis (guitars) many years before their meeting. Both wished for a music that could be told, performed, represented as well as listened to. Love and joy, anger and pain, life and death painted by music and shown to the public as a real drama. In May 2007, after several experiences with people who didn’t share their vision of making music, Daniele and Armando realized that their musical desires were the same and started seeking other musicians. The core of Sipario was born!!
Few months later, they founded in Francesco Ronza (bass) and Alessio Laratta (vocals), the other members of today’s line up.
It was September 2007 and in October they were already recording.

ACT II
In May 2008, the band became a project by Daniele Tari, Alessio Laratta, Francesco Ronza with other guest musicians.
The result was the concept :"Scenes from Oblivon", 7 songs from the future full-lenght based on the story "Oblivion" from "Primavera di Aithea" written by Daniele Tari.

ACT III
After a lot of positive criticism about "Scenes from Oblivion", on July 2009, Domenico D’Argenzio (drums) joined the band and on November 2009, he was followed by Angelo Mormile (guitars). With this definitive line-up, Sipario are finally ready to thrill fans with their stories and music.

BIOGRAFIA
I Sipario sono nati nel Settembre 2007 con l’idea di creare della musica che si potesse narrare, interpretare, rappresentare, oltre che ascoltare. Una musica che parlasse di volta in volta di amore, rabbia, dolore, morte e gioia, e che trasportasse tutto ciò dagli strumenti ai sensi e al cuore dell'ascoltatore.
Nel Maggio 2008, Daniele Tari, Alessio Laratta e Francesco Ronza, con la partecipazione di alcuni musicisti del panorama campano, giungono alla produzione di un cd-concept - "Scenes from Oblivon" - contenente sette canzoni tratte dal futuro full-lenght e ispirato alla storia "Oblivion" dal romanzo "Primavera di Aithea" (Graus Editore - 2009) scritto da Daniele Tari.
Il lavoro ottiene molti consensi e critiche positive che consentono al gruppo di consolidare la loro presenza su emittenti nazionali e internazionali come Radiophonica (Perugia – Italy), Radio Basile (Roma/USA), Radio Metal Storm (Connecticut – USA), e di esibirsi in diverse occasioni con ottimi risultati e gran successo di pubblico.
Nel 2009, vengono contattati dalla Quickstar Productions (USA) che inserisce il pezzo - Morpheus - nella compilation Rock 4 Life.
Attualmente, la band, con il chitarrista Angelo Mormile e il batterista Domenico D'Argenzio, sta lavorando alla produzione del nuovo cd, previsto per il 2010. Alcune delle nuove canzoni verranno registrate con la mezzo-soprano Viviana Fiorito.

Nella speranza di coinvolgervi con le nostre storie e la nostra musica, vi diamo il benvenuto nel nostro piccolo teatro…

STORIA - ATTO I
I Sipario nascono come idea nella mente dei due fondatori Daniele Tari (tastiere) e Armando De Angelis (chitarra), anni prima che i due si conoscessero: entrambi, infatti, avevano in mente di creare della musica che si potesse narrare, interpretare, rappresentare, oltre che ascoltare. Una musica che parlasse di volta in volta di amore, rabbia, dolore, morte e gioia, e che trasportasse tutto ciò dagli strumenti ai sensi e al cuore dell'ascoltatore.
Dopo alcune esperienze musicali comuni, i due decisero di dare vita ad un nuovo progetto che rispecchiasse in pieno le loro esigenze.
Era nato il nucleo centrale dei Sipario, e nel giro di pochi mesi, i due trovarono in Francesco Ronza (basso), e in Alessio Laratta (voce) i restanti membri della line up.
Era il Settembre del 2007 e ad Ottobre si cominciava già a registrare.

ATTO II
Nel Maggio 2008, i "Sipario" divennero un progetto di Daniele Tari, Alessio Laratta e Francesco Ronza con la partecipazione di altri musicisti come ospiti sia nei lavori in studio che nei live della band. Il risultato fu il concept: "Scenes from Oblivon", 7 canzoni dal futuro full-lenght ispirato alla storia "Oblivion" da "Primavera di Aithea" scritta da Daniele Tari.

ATTO III
Dopo l’uscita di “Scenes from Oblivion" e le numerose critiche positive, nel Luglio 2009, il batterista Domenico D'Argenzio si unisce alla band, seguito nel Novembre dello stesso anno dal chitarrista Angelo Mormile. Con la line-up al completo, i Sipario sono finalmente pronti ad appassionare i fan con la loro musica e le loro storie.
