Mix these sensual sounds and visions well, and you will have a luxurious soundtrack cocktail that goes under the title CALMING PARK 6. CALMING PARK 6 showcases the seducing melodies of Goldfrapp, Sam Sparro, Amy Winehouse, The Cardigans, Berry ou Yoav, marking a departure from the sounds of the fifth volume of the series. In the words of its creator, Olivier Rohrbach, this « new selection is primarily a very hedonistic one. I wanted the sound to be more contemporary, soothing-entertaining, I wanted the collection to reflect the atmosphere of cruises, of summer breaking into the middle of winter with leisure and sun. Basically on CALMING PARK 6 everything is mixed with practically each title « contaminated » by the most diverse and yet intriguing musical influences. My desire was also to infuse the worlds of scents and sounds, giving the collection an eco-friendly touch which very much corresponds to my personal aspirations and to the idea of lifestyle I want to communicate with CALMING PARK’s scented candles - quality products made of natural and reusable materials. This green touch can also be found on the breathtaking cover photo of CALMING PARK 6, a still done by Reto Guntli in Japan. CALMING PARK 6 also features a previously unreleased remix of « Calming Park » by Fenomenon & Olivier Rohrbach, cut in New York by Flavio Lavelle and Béco Dranoff, Bebel Gilberto’s producer.
