I did my growing up in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, in the long early morning shadow of midtown Manhattan. I had a messy affair with nineties rock and we still get together when there’s nothing good on television. These days, I'm more apt to strum and pick at the strings like a spider, and sometimes like a lemur.
I studied music and Italian in college, and having no employers knocking on my door, I drove to San Francisco, where it’s never too hot or too cold, but sometimes very foggy. In the tradition of Bob Dylan and Phoebe Buffay, I took to the coffee houses, where I met Avi Vinocur, himself an occasional lemur and spider. Our collaboration yielded some singer-songwriter bliss, a joint open mic hosting gig at the Brainwash Cafe, and quite a few dueling acoustic guitar performances around the Bay Area, as well as a forthcoming album. It shall come forth soon. You can listen to some of the tracks at www.myspace.com/pwolfandavi.
In mid-2009 I came eastward again to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I've had the good fortune to team up with Rachel Keil, a native of these parts. If you are or anyone you know is a skilled and currently un- or under-commited folk/singer-songwriter-type drummer, please do not hesitate to email me at patrickdyerwolf@gmail.com.
You can snag my debut solo EP, "Patrick Dyer Wolf" on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and several other online music stores.
Please contact me if you like the tunes I've got here. I love playing them and I jump at any chance to do so.
Yeah, we moved in the area at the end of August. I'm just starting to get my bearings around here but I'll definitely check Philly's music scene soon and see where to play... How's life over there?
Hey patrizio, the new songs sound awesome! How's life in North Carolina? I'm ouside of Philly now, maybe we can play a show together sometimes... Take care

I really wanted to make it to the house performance last weekend. I am sure it was amazing. I am playing a show tomorrow night at the Hotel Utah. Bring Mary. I'd love to see you. (Are you moving out of SF and not telling me)? Hope all is well.
Hi Patrick - thx for the add - I am having jolly fun discovering the multi-talented Dyers. None of them are vaguely alike, including you! Today I was so inspired by this I uploaded "The Dyer Family Song" from my SONGS TO ANNOY SMALL CHILDREN series to my other page, myspace. com/reptilicusmaximus. It is pretty stupid. Even though technically you're a Wolf, not a Dyer, I thought you might be amused by it!
