pooka press
pooka (also phooka or puca) a shape-shifting hobgoblin of Celtic folklore, whom some see as akin
to Shakespeare’s Puck (AKA Robin Goodfellow). pookas are mischievous, playful creatures, tricksters if
you will. The most famous of all pookas is the one that went Hollywood... HARVEY, the bow tie & belt
wearing, 7 foot tall, invisible (to most) white rabbit that starred with Jimmy Stewart in the Universal
Picture film of the same name.
Samain (November 1st) is a special day for pookas. It is said on this day a pooka assumes the
shape of a large talking horse, resting in the shade of a certain great tree, & answers the questions of
passersby.
pooka press, like the pooka, will disappear & reappear at will, change shape, form & location.
Angering & creating questions for its readers. It may even at times knock its readers for a loop as a pooka
would its rider.
History
pooka press began life in Ottawa Ontario Canada early in 1994, & has/ will publish poetry in various forms; books, chapbooks, broadsides, broadsheets, T-shirts, postcards, posters, etc... as well pooka press is interested in publishing comics, graphic novels, short story collections, screenplays, plays, novels & non fiction travel pieces.

Y SIN EMBARGO magazine #15 [ inter-visto issue ] ON PAPER · PDF (free) mar.abr.may.
The structure of YSE #15, "inter-visto issue" is based on 15 interviews of ’authors’ and 15 graphical re-readings of these interviews by other ’authors’. The notion is "difference & repetition". Each interview has the same 15 questions, sent one by one by each of the interviewed ones who have chose to answer them all or just a few. And each one has been graphically re-read by another 15 authors.

~Abraham Maslow~ The key question isn't "What fosters creativity?" But it is why in God's name isn't everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might be not why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity, as if it were a miracle if anybody created anything.
