Mama always said I had ... Promise ...
You can call me Nate Hall or even Promise, though my mom and sisters will always call me Nathan A. Born in Philly and raised in South Jersey, I’ve learned about LOVE, LIFE, and HUMILITY as the youngest and only boy of four children. As hard as I tried to get away from MUSIC, it always followed me. It’s been a long road since I started singing in church with my sisters.
I was introduced to Music Production in high school under the caring eye of my chorus teacher Charles Bass. Soon after, I formed an R&B group called Harmony, which took its act the following year to the APOLLO stage in Harlem.
I haven’t looked back since. I’ve dedicated myself to developing my craft: whether it be playing the keyboard (or more recently the guitar), creating MY style of Music Production, or writing songs that will touch people’s hearts. I’ve had the privilege to share the stage with such acts as FLOETRY, GOAPELE, and KINDRED AND THE FAMILY SOUL. I’ve performed in Carnegie Hall, the Kimmell Center, and many other great spaces in the US and in Europe (Grand Prix champ 2007 in Tallinn, Estonia).
Upon graduating from the University of Delaware this year with a degree in Music Management, I’m finally beginning to see this dream becoming a reality: Bringing back GOOD MUSIC.
My production credits include Trenton’s D. GOODE (VIBE Magazine’s 2005 Free Agent), Baltimore’s DANNY RICH (associate producer), and Kaitlin Sweeney Band (keyboardist/executive producer).
FINALLY, It’s my turn…
My DEBUT ALBUM is now underway. I hope to finish by the end of the year. It’s gonna be CRAZY.
So… Get on the Movement: We’re bringing GOOD MUSIC back…
