Razzle's earliest beginnings were in 1998 when the Torch Marauder (a.k.a. drummer Dave Bjorkback) was asked to submit tracks to an upcoming tribute album for Tuscon AZ band The Piz. Dave assembled a band consisting of Bob Wall (ex-Two Headed Dawg/Shake - guitar) and Dave Cantwell (ex-Analogue/Drug Yacht - Fender bass), and the three of them recorded 5 tracks (4 were used) for this tribute album under various pseudonyms (Torch Marauder and Friends, Barnacle Farm, J-Card, RUDD). After the Piz tribute CD was released the three kept rehearsing and then added guitarist Al Henderson (ex-Tex Svengali) in 1999 and Razzle was born proper. Razzle's first shows were in early 2000 and continued throughout the year. Tragically Al passed away in January of 2001. Razzle then recorded a 7 song CD of all the music up to that point with Bob Wall handling all guitar duties. In May of 2001 they added new guitarist Mike Robb (ex-Goatthrower). From there the band recorded and performed extensively until July 2004. Recordings include two comps ("Pop and Circumstance V.1" on Eskimo Kiss Records and "Compulation v.1" on Pox World Empire Records), one 7" ("Chuck" on Sirena Discos), and two albums (self released "7 Song CD" and "All Those Wasted (Y)ears" on Pox World Empire). Razzle's official last show was 7/31/04.
