Good news! The brand new powerpopcompilation "Souvenirs" is being released this week! It contains 21 great North American powerpop tracks from 1975-95. You can hear three of the songs that just have been uploaded on our Myspage page. The CD also contains a previously unreleased song by the great Canadian band Pointed Sticks recorded in the late 70..s. It is availabe from Not Lame Records and Kool Kat Musik, and it will very soon be available from CD Baby.
Love the new tune. You know what Gary? You have mastered that rather rare art of knowing just when to put a change in a pop song. I hear SOOO many songs that have a good riff, and then mindlessly drone along on that same riff untill the end. Good pop songs need to have twists and turns in them to hold my interst. Unless they happen to be Spaceman 3 and the intention all along was to drone along mindlessly untill the riff drives itself into your brain. But that's something else...
