About me:
this is not the place to try and get in touch with members of Scruffy the Cat! This is just a "fan-site"
I can try and forward messages to the guys from Scruffy the Cat... but I won't promise anything!
I am/was not a member of Scruffy the Cat.
I am the webmeister of the unofficial Scruffy the Cat website:
http://tinybum.com
If someone who was a member of Scruffy the Cat wants to take over this myspace profile - just lemme know & it's all yers.
I check this myspace profile about once a week, so if you are trying to get in touch with me you might have better luck here: myspace.com/sidemouse
Tangent: Thanks to MySpace I can call Kay Hanley a friend of a friend, but as a Boston area resident and music fan, that may just be true anyway. Turns out I have a friend who's godfather was Peter Wolf and I never knew that either.
Now when will I be able to replace my worn, weak cassette copy of Tiny Days with a new shiny version on CD? Thanks for the live tracks on timybum.com. It was a cool glass of water after a long time in the desert.
I have always loved that first EP and truly wish it and Boom Boom Boom Bingo could somehow be released together on one disc. I'm going to take this wish to my grave (which actually probably WILL happen haha).
We played the hell out of High Octane Revival at Auburn's campus station and I remember how much the staff loved that EP. I do like the other albums, but there is something special about that first release.
Saw you guys live a couple of times. In Birmingham for Tiny Days (almost died driving back to Auburn when I started to fall asleep and my friend grabbed the steering before a semi hit us... oops! Those would have been Squishy Days). And as mentioned below saw them with Daniel Lanois/5440 in Atlanta a couple of years later.
Thanks for the great tunes! Have enjoyed Charlie's recordings as well.
