About me:

Here is a bit about my history. I started as a club DJ at the ripe old age of 16. I was not old enough to work in a bar, but thanks to my brother, I was called in one night by him at the club he tended bar at when the DJ quit. After playing just 2 weeks the club owner offered the prime nights to me which were Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. How lucky could I get. My first line to getting my new dance tunes at the time was the record pool "For The Record" where I picked up my wax at 99 Prince Street in SoHo where the legendary "Loft" was located. All of those grooves still reside in my collection in my music room. I should mention that my Mom started my love of music when she gave me my first record player and her collection of dance tunes at 5 years old. She had those dance tunes because she and my Dad met the first year American Bandstand aired on WFIL in Philadelphia, my home town. They danced for two years until my oldest brother came along and decided to stop. My Mom never let my love of music suffer as she always took me record shopping every week. I have enjoyed playing some of the finest clubs in Philly, Wilmington, New Hope, Allentown, Cherry Hill, New York City, Provincetown, Atlanta, New Orleans, Palm Springs, and here in San Francisco. I have had my own radio show, KCSF Remixed, for 4 years here in the city and have also been the station's Music Director. I have returned to the air waves with my radio show for its fifth year. Thanks to all my friends that sent me tracks, e-mails and feedback on the show and I will be continuing with my club gigs without interruption. I have an exciting new residency that I am doing now with a newly reopened club that has been gaining much momentum. So keep in touch and keep those tracks coming. As of right now I have a lot going on and will post info when I can get my new schedule worked out. As you all know I arrived late to My Space because of my wonderful and busy life, and am proud of the progress I have made and am thankful for the wonderful friends I have made. I started this because my friends kept encouraging me to do so, and I thank them for their encouragement.
