Brian has been in various bands, such as Odd Job and Halfshaft, playing up North and in the Milton Keynes area over the years. He played Classic Rock covers and wrote a lot of his own material. He likes his Ibanez 80's Models and uses bone picks imported from USA. Kev started drumming in his 20's and soon realised that he had natural ability. He has played in the Yorkshire area in Rock covers bands with such artists as Keyboard player James Jay, he had stopped for a while when the band split up, until he started going to the Deep End and got back into it again. He had a DW Kit but now plays a PEARL MASTERS CUSTOM. Rick started playing bass at the tender age of 15. He got his first band 'STORM' together when he was only 17. Two years later he got offered a place with already well established 'SEVENTH SON', from Barnsley, South Yorkshire. He has also played in several other bands. He currently plays Schecters.

   About Shrine of the Monkey
MySpace Layouts We are a band from Sheffield called 'SHRINE OF THE MONKEY'. We met at a local jam session at THE DEEP END in SHEFFIELD about FEBRUARY 2005. As we had a lot in common musically we decided to form our own band. We spent most of 2005 writing and rehearsing and our first gig was at the end of September in 2005 at a bike rally in SHEFFIELD at THE PARK HOTEL. Since then we have gone from strength to strength playing all over Yorkshire and Humberside. We have played such venues as :- THE GRAPES, THE NELSON, D n R LIVE, WEST STREET LIVE, THE BOARDWALK, UNDER THE BOARDWALK, THE PLUG, THE CORPORATION, ROCKWELLS, THE ARCHES, THE ROOM and THE VENUE in BARNSLEY, SNAFU in ROTHERHAM, THE WHITE ROOM in HULL, CERT 18 in YORK, THE VIC INN at COALVILLE, THE SNOOTY FOX in WAKEFIELD, THE LION in CASTLEFORD, THE CHESTERS CLUB and THE GREEN ROOM in CHESTERFIELD and JOSEPHS WELL in LEEDS where we supported BIOMECHANICAL, not to mention the countless Bars all over Yorkshire & Humberside and various Bike shows. We had a 4 track ep out in 2006, since then been working on out debut album. We have had great write ups from Jan Auckland -"Good old fashioned soaring vocals over driving rhythms"- for The Telegraph & Star. Rhodesy - "Straight out of the 70's Rock Handbook, all of them have a Black Sabbath feel, would appeal to fans of classic rock bands such as Sabbath and Rainbow as well as fans of Black Label Society and Goatsnake"- The Coma. The Sandman, Classic Rock. "Starting off with the kind of riffing that retro Metalheads dream of. Sharp clean-cutting riffs like Saxon, Maiden or Randy Rhoads with Ozzy, makes the ears prick up"- Metal Hammer where we got 8 out of 10 in Junes edition 2006 for our debut ep. We appeared on Octobers Fear Candy unsigned cd with Terrorizer mag, other great write ups are from Metalliville.com - Glenn wrote -"Early Sabbath-like Solid, Sheffield Trio wailing it out and melodicating your mind. Anthem sounds like a Sabbath unreleased track - love the guitar solo and I'm sure Tony would too" .Metal Gremlin Webzine - Luke wrote - "A real treat of stoner rock tinged with elements of Iron Maiden like quality, this is truly a magnificent band, a true joy to behold and one i'll definately watch again". Paul wrote - "Solid British rock. It's raw, unpolished, warts 'n' all" - from 'amileinmyboots'. Also Bubblegum Slutzine. Luckily we have not had a bad write up as yet. We went into the Studio to Record our DEBUT Album MARCH 2007, but due to problems with the studio, its taken a lot longer than planned to get the album out. We would personally like to Thank a few people for believing in us along the way the last 4 and a half years on the Road. Sue Gregory for Managing/Promoting and booking all the gigs, doing the flyers, posters etc and spreading the word, Glenn Milligan from Metalliville.com, Paul Richmond who set up our first website and has been a constant source of support, Kev Lee Jr for setting up the bands Official Website and the Band Site on My Space. Paul Carlton for a great write up when we first started and for becoming a great friend since and supporting us when ever he can. The Longriders who gave us our first gig. The Coma, Sandman, Telegraph & Star etc for the Great reviews. Tarana Rob for helping us so much with the CDs. Mick and James from Darnall Music Factory. Lord Zombie for his great write ups and gigs he organised. Various bands i.e Ten Foot Dolls, Warhead, Nyasi Forte, Subliminal Fear, Silverjet, Crimes Of Passion, In The Name Of, Rise To Addiction, ALLERJEN, RATTLESNAKE REMEDY, SEVEN YEARS DEAD, BIOMECHANICAL etc., BEN WARD from ORANGE GOBLIN. And where would we be without our loyal families, friends and fans in every town we have been? And all the Venues we have played at. Not forgetting the guys from Barnsley. And My Space has been amazing in getting the band world wide recognition. Thanks to everyone who has been involved so far. On 9.2.07 we played at a Meningitis Charity Event at the Boardwalk in Sheffield. The Event was organised by Steve from 'In The Name Of'. Despite the bad weather conditions everyone turned up and made it a successful evening. The line up was :- Charlie Barker, JOHN PARR, In The Name Of, Us (Shrine of the Monkey) and Duran. It was an awesome evening and we got to spend time with John Parr before he went on stage. He is an amazing man and so friendly. We are still gigging and trying to make a name for ourselves and hope the debut album is out soon. Thank you to you all for your continuing support over the last few years.

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!

Hugs from Brazil,

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.

Here are some things you can do:

Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.

Publish artist interviews in English to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazineInterviewsEnglish , interviews in French to http://groups.myspace.com/InterviewsAvecCountryMusicStars and interviews in German to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryMusikInterviews . All these groups on MySpace are part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine.

Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka

Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.

If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.

Jamie Mallender is the bass player for former Black Sabbath vocalist, Tony
Martin.  He has just released a solo album to excellent reviews. CD Baby
describe the album as, "A bass guitar oriented fusion, crossover, progressive
instrumental album featuring a mishmash of genres, time changes and mood
swings with a loose Sci-Fi B-Movie feel - more musical journey than virtuoso
showcase, nevertheless displaying impressive chops."

DOOMRAISER

DOOMRAISER

Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too! As one door closes, another opens. Valerio has decided to leave the band; he wants to concentrate more on his other projects. We all wish Valerio the best of luck with his new vocation. He was, and remains, a formidable guitarist and was an integral part of DOOMRAISER.
However, it is with great pleasure that DOOMRAISER announce that Valerio’s replacement is to be none other than our good friend and brother, the fearsomely talented musician Willer. He played bass with evil blacksters Grimness and he’s involved in Black Land, an awesome and obscure heavy psychedelic band from Rome. Practices have been going very well, and Willer is already adding a new, acid and exciting dimension to the band as a whole. His first gig will be at Sinister Noise Club in Rome on the 21th November: a special and drunken night celebrating the birthday of one of the most important Italian underground rock scene club!
Stay tuned… and slower, harder, drunker!

Scorpion Records has teamed up with Elygen to bring you the next great website for music fans and bands!

BANDARRAY.com

We're people in the industry/scene who understand what musicians and fans want.  We're creating a place where music in the most important thing.
Remember when Myspace was a cool place for band to be discovered?  Now in 2009 it's basically nothing but bands adding bands! Not to mention tons of fans have moved on to facebook because of all the band spam!  Yeah that's right, sorry to tell you kids, but the industry knows your numbers are the result of "friend blasters" and spending day and night doing random add's.  No one is impressed!
So, what will be the site that Facebook defectors and music fans search when they want to hear some music?

Band Array Dot Com

Sign up now, get your band name before someone else steals it!
Fans sign up and get free downloads from the bands!

So why join up to a new site?  It has all the perks of Myspace, BUT, you can also create a store right on your page to sell ALL your merch including digital media!  And the best part is, YOU get paid direct via PayPal.  No middle man to cut into your profits!  One stop for you and your fans!
And Hey, you can always use more exposure right?!?

We'll see ya there....
