This quintet hails from the small town of Winneconne, Wisconsin. The high energy group began as a trio of balladeers. They've managed to have their melodic, piano/acoustic based vibe maintain it's heartfelt attraction while modernizing their sound into an all out musical experience. The band includes members Chad Johnson (Piano, Vocals), Mike DeAngelo (Vocals, Guitar), Koley O'Brien (Guitar, Vocals), Zac "Sir Blackness" Pingel (Bass), and Evan Schmidt (Drums). Along with recent tours spanning the country from clubs like The Cat Club in L.A. to Club Wired in Houston, they've frequented universities such as the Universtiy of Minnesota Twin Cities, UW La Crosse, UW Madison,.. and so on. They've already shared the stage with such acts as This Day & Age, The Spill Canvas, The Rocket Summer, The Wild Birds (formerly Number One Fan), Ivory, Receiving End Of Sirens, Gatsby's American Dream, Umbrellas, & more... Silent Point just finished their debut full length album, WE WERE LIONS at Simple Studios in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

maybe one day, in 41 years, all of yous guyses and lauren and tracy and myself will all be in oregon (not that i even remotly have the desire to go to oregon...), by ourselves (cause that would be way funnier) and well all bump into eachother at walmart and it would be like that south park episode (WERE THE PRICES JUST KEPT ROLLING BACK) and we would all be in geezer carts (of course cause we would be geezers) and wed all bump into each other at the tv section cause they would be playing anchor man. id be like "what-the-french-toast lauren?! -while rising my cane in the air- why didnt you tell me you were coming to oregon when we were eating idaho nachos at cheddars last week ?! (haha i just realized that we would have the senior citizen discount) we could of rode on the plane together (or whatever new transportation device they will have in 41 years) WHY I OTTA!!!!!!!" then id see tracy with a bag of ring pops, and id be like "DAG NABBIT IS THAT TRACY?! ...how is this happening? what brings you to this very walmart in oregon?" and it would be cause she was traveling on her really neat job. then kendal would be chasing her gran-daughter (and i would really want her granddaughters bow). and she would have the book "but not the hippopotamus" in her cart and i would say "thats the most life changing book ive ever read... KENDAL IS THAT YOU?!" then mikey would roll up and say "is that anchor man?"(then to some person that works there) hed say something like, "YOU KNOW WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE this movie was a hit" then wed all say (in unison, of course) "those were the days" then wed look at him closer and be like "...wait a second... your name isnt mikey by any chance is it?
