Good times, good music, good vibe. If it’s good, it goes on is the philosophy, and we’ll all have a good time. The whole place tonight has an end of the world and we don’t care vibe. If that is the case, then we’ve found our DJs: BBC RADIO ULSTER
The spiritual home of Belfast’s hipsters, SKIBUNNY is undeniably cool, laidback and has a party atmosphere most clubs would die for: AU Magazine

SKIBUNNY's second single "Remote Control" is released May 26th 2008, on 7" vinyl and download. The vinyl b-side is a hot remix of "Remote Control" by DJ Supermarkt and the download b-side is "My Bad Heart". Vinyl is available now to pre-order from all good record shops, including the SKIBUNNY SHOP!
It's a good 'un. A sort of Daft Punk-lite affair, it's a playful, gentle, sparkly and spacey number that's one of those rare dance songs that would work equally well as a euphoric floorfiller or a blissful chillout number.HOTPRESS
4/5 It’s not often you hear a song that is both simultaneously laidback yet uplifting, but Skibunny have managed it with their new single Remote Control.... Everyone will like this, whether they’re looking for something relaxing to chill to, or a cute little number to get them moving.THE SKINNY

4/5 - Floating comfortably somewhere between The Orb and Four Tet, Skibunny’s ‘Aah Ooh’ hovers with an air of contentment upon a cloud of euphoria. GIGWISE
4/5 – fresh and breezy.DMC UPDATE
Delicate insanely catchy pop single that will kick into your memory banks and not shift, in the same way that bloody whistling song by those swedes, peter bjorn and john did last year, though thankfully, this song is lot more enjoyable.PLAYLOUDER
A deliciously danceable yet sublimely tranquil song….Aah ooh is the perfect song to listen to (and up very loud) be it in a club, alone in your bedroom or while roaming down the street on a horrendously cold morning or a sunshine soaked afternoon. You will be hard pushed to find fault in Skibunny’s dazzling new single.SEATWAVE
The calming Aah Ooh is perfect listen on these cold days as we look forward and daydream about the summer.AMELIAS MAGAZINE
Mark and Tanya offer up the coolest trance you're likely to hear this winter. Put it on and feel your arms gently rising up with the beats, towards that beautiful dry ice machine in the ceiling. More, we say, more please.MUSICOMH
They’ve swapped the turntables for a runaway-train snare drum, gently pulsing bass and high, dreamy vocals, St Etienne stardust sprinkled everywhere.REFRESHLITE
The legend of Skibunny precedes the debut single release and live performance by almost a decade.
First came the legend of Skibunny the club. Two musicians, Mark and Tanya, with four Peel Sessions and a Melody Maker Single of the Week under their belts, came together as a DJ duo to create Skibunny, a weekly Saturday night alternative club which soon prompted words like 'groundbreaking' from Radio 1. As the reputation grew, the accolades kept coming with both a Club of the Week appearance in the pages of the NME, and a gong for Best Alternative Club at the Oh Yeah Awards.
Skibunny the club continues to attract a sell-out crowd every week. The music policy remains the same – if it’s good, play it. So you are just as likely to hear The Cure as you are Jamie Lidell, Aretha Franklyn, Ratatat and A-Track. Their 2006 compilation CD, mixing everything from Modest Mouse to Lyrics Born, and from Television to Robots In Disguise, attracted high praise from Radio 1's Rob Da Bank who championed their turntable skills by broadcasting chunks of their work on his show.
As well as the club, Mark and Tanya have DJ’d the length and breadth of the globe-whether it be playing between bands like The White Stripes and Franz Ferdinand at the Vital festival, playing after-parties for everyone from Ash to Scissor Sisters, and popping up at festivals like Oxygen (MTV tent) and T in the Park (where they were supported by Mylo.) Or if you were in London in May of 2006, that was them ripping it up at the seminal Death Disco. In the last 12 months alone, they shared stages with Erol Alkan, CSS, DFA DJs, The Rapture and The Go! Team.
You might have bumped into one of them behind the turntables in places as far away as New York, Washington and even Russia. as well as parties at SXSW, the Summer of Love Festival in Prague and Rockness 2007 (in the Bestival Bar curated by Rob Da Bank) playing alongside Rob himself and Caged Baby. They also made their first trip to Japan, touring Tokyo, Osaka & Nagoya with Handsomeboy Technique & Halfby, and a second trip in January 2008, this time to Kyoto and Kobe.
Then came the legend of the remixing. Skibunny kicked off with Oppenheimer, and upon delivery of the results, the remix was snapped up by giants Nike for their online campaign. Bands starting falling over themselves to get the Skibunny treatment. Amongst those joining the disorderly queue were Forward Russia and The Freelance Hellraiser.
Now starts the legend of Skibunny live. Now, finally, comes the first release of original material. Sitting somewhere between Joy Division, Fourtet and The Cure, it’s a bittersweet slice of electro-acoustic pop, the vocals being recorded with David Holmes. The B-Side is a remix from new friend Handsomeboy Technique, from Japan’s Second Royal Records.
