She's witty, she's quirky, and she sings! Comedian Jen Kwok was a finalist in NBC Stand-Up for Diversity, a nationwide search for the country's top-11 comedians (comedians who aren't white). She was also a semi-finalist in New York Comedy Festival’s first-ever NY’s Funniest Stand-Up competition, and has developed a cult following on the international ukulele scene. Jen was also in the Top 10 of Famecast, peaking at #2 in Comedy and #12 in Singer-Songwriter out of thousands of videos.
On any given week, you will find Jen (and her ukulele, Jenny!) killing at an alt basement comedy show, playing a full-length set on the downtown performance scene, and emceeing a mainstream comedy club in Times Square. That's pretty bad ass for a little Asian girl from small town California.
Jen smashes stereotypes and crushes audiences with her idiosyncratic humor. Equal parts strange and adorable, Jen's oddball performances have quickly secured her reputation as an in-demand performer on both the comedy and music scenes. Her enchanting absurdist humor is topped off with a deliciously soulful singing voice, mixing music and comedy as only a pink-haired ukulele player can.
