Son Jack Jr is a guitarist and singer/songwriter based in Seattle, WA. He has a deep passion for the blues with a particular feeling for Delta blues which he plays on National Resophonic and Martin guitars.
Son Jack Jr grew up in London, England and has been playing guitar since the age of 9. In the late 1970's and early 1980's he recorded and toured extensively in the UK but stepped out of the music business in 1983 to follow a different path.
After a 24 year hiatus he started playing and writing again and released his debut CD ("Introducing...Son Jack Jr") in 2006 which includes 9 original tracks. In February 2008 he released his award winning 2nd CD ("When The Devil Calls") with 10 new self penned tracks.
“I love country blues and don’t hear much these days so I was happy to hear the new CD by Son Jack Jr. He must really love country blues because he sure has the feel”.
Charlie Musselwhite
"A good variety of grooves with some very solid original material. His guitar playing was strong with shades of John Lee Hooker and Blind Willie Johnson. I've become a big fan of the North Mississippi hill country music, so Poor Black Mattie really caught my ear. I like it!"
Rich Del Grosso
"Son Jack Jr. is one of the premier delta blues and roots music performers on the scene today. From the first chord on his Guitar to the first word out of his mouth, you realize that you are listening to the real deal. He is one of those rare performers that should not be missed and should be seen by anyone who is serious about their music!"

Hey! Thank you so much for the comment. We had so much fun at the concert at BBQ and blues! It was amazing! I myself haven't spend any time around a blues band and you blew me away! Isaac is doing great. He's getting into the terriable two's but he's doing good. For his drumming, he's awesome. He's really getting a tune going now. It won't be long and we'll have him in lessons.
Thank you so much for the concert. If you guys are ever back in the Valley, give me a heads up if you can! Good luck to yourself and you family.

Hi from Indianola, MS, home of BB King and the new $16M BB King Blues Museum! BB King Homecoming is Friday, June 5th and it's going to be a very special one. BB has recently purchased the famous Club Ebony (where Keb Mo' showed up for the Sunday Evening Jam last week!) and will be playing there after his Concert in the Park. It is incredible to see the King of the Blues work at such close range.
