When Stephen 'Friz' Frizzle was six years old, he sat down and rewrote the lyrics to Wet Wet Wet's Love is All Around. The lyrics went something like "I feel it in my fingers/I feel it in my toes, It feels a bit like jelly/or just a flock of crows".
Flash forward fifteen years later, and he's still doing more of the same thing. Armed with just a keyboard and his own wordplay, Stephen 'Friz' Frizzle rewrites pop songs old and new to make them funnier, more satirical, and to create a general viewpoint on life. He also occasionally writes original comedic songs, so he doesn't always rip off other people...
In recent years, Friz has been getting more and more attention, which he rather likes. He's currently studying at Northumbria University, which he recently got awarded third place at Northumbria's Got Talent doing stand-up. He's decided to perform live a lot more often now, so check his upcoming gigs to see if he'll be near you.
