Stygia is a world class progressive power metal project/band organized by guitarist Todd Seitz. The project will capture the epic brutality of several dark fantasy themes. By utilizing a line up of world class musicians, Stygia offers an over the top musical experience. The band's initial demo was released in November of 2007. At the moment, Stygia is recording a full length album containing nine brand new tracks. Musicians for the project were carefully selected for the recording of its newest venture. Stygia's debut album 'Divine Allegiance' will feature Vocalist Michael Vescera (OBSESSION, Ex. YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS), Bassist Michael LePond (SYMPHONY X), Guitarist Todd Seitz (STYGIA), Keyboardist Kevin Codfert (ADAGIO) and Drummer John Macaluso (Ex. YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ARK, TNT). A guest solo will also be contributed by Hank Shermann (MERCYFUL FATE & DEMONICA) and Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS). The release is expected in the Summer of 2009.
