Mission Statement:
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education (C.A.R.E.).
Contrary to belief you do not need to be a surfer to be a Surfrider member. You just have to care. We are an eclectic group of folks, made up not entirely of surfers, there are kayakers, skateboarders, divers, beach combers, hikers, snow enthusiasts, rock climbers, and the list goes on and on.
