Swampfish, the Dorset Blues, Rock band recently made a number of appearances at the Isle of Wight Folk Blues Festival, watch out for other gigs coming soon. The band have a wide repertoire of numbers from more traditional blues to unusual covers of well known soul and rock numbers.
The band has spent the summer concentrating on festival appearances with shows at the Ringwood Festival, Poole Spring Fair, Dreamweek Festival, Poole Fest '07 and the Isle of Wight Folk Blues Festival. Bookings are currently been taken for the spring before Swampfish go into the studio to record their first album.
The band is fronted by rhythm guitarist/vocalist/harmonica player Simon Lane along with Lead guitarist Phil Beards, bassist Sandy Robson and drummer Andy Jacobs. Look out for the band around Dorset this spring.
