Psychotic blasts of biomechanical fury, pulsating polyrhythms and annihilating metronomic precision are the signature sounds of Australian based Metal band, Synthetic Breed.
Demonstrating an extensive knowledge of the Metal genre; with songs composed by the cream of local Australian talent that expose some of the most explosive and talented players on the scene today, Synthetic Breed have performed with the best Metal acts that Australia has to offer.
Synthetic Breed recently supported Swedish Metal group Arch Enemy on their Australian tour and were invited to appear at 'With Full Force 2006' arguably the biggest Metal festival on the planet, held in Leipzig, Germany. Synthetic Breed performed alongside International bands such as In Flames, Napalm Death, Trivium, Celtic Frost, Kreator, Opeth, Soulfly, The Haunted and The Black Dahlia Murder to name a few.
Synthetic Breed are currently playing throughout Melbourne and interstate and will release their debut full feature album 'Catatonic' through Faultline Records in 2008.
The evolution of our species has been hard wired into the collective consciousness.
Synthetic Breed is imminent.
"Technicality that will pulverize your brain into a mushy pulp"
- Sinister Online
"You will need a couple of listening sessions to take it all in, meaning, thrill seeking individuals looking for an easy ride should continue elsewhere, this is hardcore rocket scientist stuff."
- Alternativezine
"Throw together Meshuggah like polyrythmic beats and riffs with the syncopated riffage of Fear Factory and helpings of Burton C. Bells vocal style with a little of Devin Townsend madness and you get some kind of idea of what to expect from these guys."
- The Metal Forge
"Hammering riffs and drums pulse in and out in a cacophony of industrial mayhem with barely a moment's respite.."
- Inpress
"..not only are they possessed of the skilled and precision musicianship required to pull off this genre of Metal with style, they know exactly how to write riffs and rhythms, and structure their tunes for the most devastating effect."
- Buzz Magazine
Technically, these musicians can hold their own with the greats of the industry - no buts about it. The sick ideas, the dissonances, the morbid melodies, that spine chilling growls - it all makes the music as revered as impressive.

If you like Meshuggah, Mnemic or Fear Factory, I think you're really going to love the machine induced nightmare that is Synthetic Breed. Highly recommended.

"..Synthetic Breed pound out such a brutal-psychotic-biomechanoid sound, that loss of hearing and sight is a consequence.."
- With Full Force - Germany
