Bands@Manjimup	Jul 8 2009 3:40 PM Hey Taperjean Records. Thanks for the friendship and welcome to Bands@Manjimup. Our next gig is now confirmed for Friday 31st July. Headliners Elora Danan are coming back one last time for a farewell concert before this fantastic band breaks up. They will be supported by spooky Minute 36 from Albany/Perth, as well as local Manjimup bands Ashoka and Elektrostatik going head to head for one band member to win B@M Youth Musician of the Year. Check out all bands via B@M’s Top 40, they’re listed right at the toppermost. THIS IS A GIG YOU CAN’T MISS! In other B@M news: We have won a $64,000 grant under Brendon Gryll’s Royalties for Regions program (the Nationals rock!). Tt’ll pay to sound proof our band rehearsal facility The Boiler Room. This is the first stage to our state-of-the art recording studio. Also in is a STRIVE grant from the Manjimup Local Drug Action Group that will pay for a second set of Meet Your Heroes Youth Musicians Workshops, so we’re trying to get Abbe May and Drew Goddard back, as well as Shaun Sibbes. Plus for those of you too far away to come along we’re working on getting our gigs broadcast over web and FM radio, with Anarchy on Air as a partner - thanks BJ. Peace - The Terminator
