Different Strokes for Different Folks, their debut album, was released in Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg on February 28th 2007. The album has received great reviews by critics at home and abroad. Texum toured all over Norway following the the release of the album.

Texum originates from the rural town of Oppdal, situated in sparsely populated country in the middle of Norway. Different Strokes for Different Folks was produced and recorded by guitarist Dag Håvimb and the band. The record was mixed by Chris Shepard (Wilco, Elvis Costello, Smashing Pumpkins), and mastered by Danny Leake (Stevie Wonder, Tom Waits).

The band is currently recording their second album.
