Supporting The Airborne Toxic Event:
"First to take to the stage were Liskeard band The Hulas. Playing first and in front of a small crowd did nothing to put them off playing an exciting set of PJ Harvey fighting with Sonic Youth fuelled rock 'n' roll. So good in fact that members of the headlining band appeared and later heralded The Hulas as the best band they had ever had the privilege to play alongside. Praise indeed, but definitely credit where credit is due" The Cornish Guardian
"The Hulas' new demo EP Hula Hell are you? Is a startling collection of brisk and brusque indie-punk." Cornish Guardian
"Indie pop rock. all female band, and rather unique what with their charming take on yer cheeky rocknroll" BugBear Promotions
"Recently I put on an all girl indie group called The Hulas at Plymouth Hub. Fantastic, great, a group for the future. Look, add, listen, revisit, listen again, watch them rise." Ben's Unsigned Showcase
"Songs like 7 Little Words have an unsettling artiness about them."- Cornish Guardian
"Dark, twisted, full-speed, indie-rock that musically blows you away."- Go2 Magazine
"A Film-noir soundtrack".- Barley Sheaf Promotions
"The girls blended fine lyrics and pumping crank-up guitar work.... They were a breath of fresh air in an indie/rock world still dominated by men."- Plymouth Evening Herald
