"Americana whose lyrical authenticity and bold musicality shows a band that stands apart from other groups twice their age." -Rift Music Magazine
"A songwriting talent in the making." -The Istmus
"For someone of such tender years, his voice belies such a young age, and his song writing credentials also indicate that he knows his Americana/indie folk heritage." -Americana UK
“These guys have nailed an indie folk sound that is genuine and fun.” -Shepizzle Indie Music Reviews
"What Bowie would sound like if he grew up in Pewaukee instead of the UK.”-Kiki Schueler, Punk Rock Skunk Blog
"A beguiling quality…it has a magnetically positive idealism behind it that seems to be severely lacking in contemporary music.” -Mish Mash Music Reviews
“Every now and again, a band comes around and instills a fresh sense of hope into the local music scene. In a time of trite and contrived musical acts, it is refreshing to find a band that strives to find its own personal identity. Here enters Trapper Schoepp and a group of musicians determined to impact the masses with their attainable blend of folk, ambient pop, and good old fashioned rock n' roll, all the meanwhile incorporating earnest, road weary lyrics with a confident swagger often found in the most established of bands.”– The Fox Journal
“Recognized avatar of folk-rock, The Byrds first put their bright jangly guitar sound on the charts back in 1965; in the 1980s, fighting the rising tide of synth-rock, R.E.M. put a Southern-gothic twinge to the jangle, improving on the Byrds and making the sound their own until they lost it somewhere between record labels. While the sound has resurfaced here and there (The Feelies, The Smithereens, Carbon Leaf), anyone who’s looking for where that sound is headed next should look no further than the Trapper Schoepp Band.”– Kickapoo Free Press
"Even though this band is made up of five teenagers that fact is quickly forgotten once the music starts...a meandering folk rock Dylan-esque sound..."-Indie Music Stop
"A jamband-in-check feel to the earnest thoughtfulness, a feel that comes from being in one’s late-teens and the ensuing early jabs at figuring out the world"-The Shepherd Express
"See them live once, and their charm coupled with their talent will leave you wanting more." -Beaux's Magical Musical Plasicity
"Their debut album is a collection of nine wonderfully written and piano infested songs that are sure to make into your rotation.-What to Wear During an Orange Alert Blog
“One might think the lyrics of a 18-year-old might be, well, juvenile, but Trapper pens some pretty good lines...The band employs tension and release and within-song twists and turns with skill that belies their age."-The Muse's Muse
"The Trapper Schoepp Band is definitely catching on to something....- University Wisconsin-Milwaukee Post
"A sound of its own…anyone who grew up with rock will feel at home listening to them play — or playing their new CD, ‘A Change in the Weather’…” -Red Wing Eagle Newspaper

'Gelatinous sheaths' has become the name by which the local O/J vendors are described. I don't know where they disco-veered the pleasantry(ies) they now lay unearthed before the tin baristas, but we can surely conclude the equal minus equal is really just nothing, if not too equal.
I AM BLOWN AWAY! What's up guys-just thought I'd stop by the page and see how you guys are doing...and I had to sit and listen to every song they were so good! You sound fabulous and, tho I was a fan before, I'm a HUGE fan now! I can't wait to keep watching you grow and expand...keep up the amazing music!!
FGC returns to the Majestic Theatre in Madison on Thursday April 9 to share the stage with Kyle Hollingsworth (from String Cheese Incident). More info on our myspace page or at www.familygrooveco.com/tour. Hope to see you at the show!
