2004, Fall: Uzuhi was formed by Vo. GOSHA, Gu. KATSURAGI, Ba. AKI-EATMAN-ITO, and Dr. YUSAKU as “The Japanese Barave Manly Rock”.
2005, Fall: Ba. AKI-EATMAN-ITO and Dr. YUSAKU left for Japan.
2006, Spring: After the long silence, Vo. GOSHA and Gu. KATSURAGI were reborn to play as “The Japanese Acoustic Punk Rock”.
2007, Spring: New members, Ky. Tsubasa and Dr. KENSAKU, joined in Uzuhi.
2008, Spring: Dr. KENSAKU left and new one Dr. InaShu joined in Uzuhi.
The Japanese Acoustic Punk Rock Band, Uzuhi is NYC based band that has been playing since 2004. Uzuhi means the Sun in Japanese. The main reason of the name came from their strong belief, “Music has No borers”. As the Sun shines everyone in everywhere, they play music for everyone.
The boisterous but delicate drum beats. The elegant but brave keyboard sounds. The rageful and crazy guitar shouts. The earnest and passionate vocal performance. Once you see Uzuhi on the stage, you will be fascinated and taken away to the Uzuhi world. And you will know what the real happiness is.

This is the event presented by Uzuhi and started from Aug. 31st. 07 in New York City. It features Music, Dance and Entertainments. The main purpose of this event is that Uzuhi would like to give all of people such a brilliant time as the Sun shines. Uzuhi presents “IN THE SUN” worldwide as breaking the rules, stereotypes and common senses.
