About Walking Strange

Walking Strange met at Dartington College of Arts. They started jamming together and quickly developed a punchy and individual sound with inspiration coming from a diverse range of styles spanning indie, rock, jazz and reggae music. Lisa and Lucy hold the rhythm section together fluently whilst Jon and Andy rock out on their guitars and Andy sings in his dulcet cockney tones...

With lots of gigging experience under their belts they are ready to get their show on the road, having played at Bristol Fringe festival 08‘, Plymouth S.U bar, DCA summer festival 08’, Ogstock fest 08', South West sound 08’ and Maker Sunshine Festival 08’ to mention but a few...

Over the past months they’ve had some other small successes; an appearance in Music Week Magazine, and the current single ‘Spaghetti Western’ being featured both on this year’s South West Sound CD and the Dartington Festival ’08 EP (in association with Sawmills Studio.)
