Zoltán BÁTKY-VALENTIN (or BZ) - singer, songwriter, born April, 1974.
Instruments include vocals, melodies, screams, growls, and sighs, also guitar, keyboards, drums and flute.

A fresh interpretation of metal music; ranging from modern and extreme to progressive metal, with jazz and anything else that whips their fancy, whether it be pop, thrash or beyond. Wendigo plays metal music, loud and hard, but that is as far as the summary can go. Listen, bang your head and enjoy, judge if you must.
Formed in 2003 by well known members of Hungarian metal scene, Wendigo introduced the new band with a 3-song EP (Reconnecting, 2004.), followed by their debut album (Let It Out, 2006.)
Let It Out was the Best Newcomer Album at Hungarian Metal Awards 2006, and it was also nominated to the Best Metal Album.
Wendigo was nominated to the Fonogram Music Awards (and thus to the Eurovision finals) as the Best Newcomer of 2006.
