Although I'm technically a solo artist, my music has been deeply affected by an amazing 15 year collaboration with my dear friend Rachel Samuel. You can hear her beautiful cello on each of my albums, and she regularly performs live with me. She's been an incredible support throughout my musical journey.
We often perform as a three piece, with the addition of the very handsome William Llewellyn Griffiths on percussion.
Two other musicians who have made great contributions to my albums are Elissa Goodrich on vibraphone, and Craig Patterson on piano. Occasionally they play live with me too and I'm currently working on side projects with both of them.
Influences
My music is influenced by the journeys of my own heart, and my connection to the world of Nature and her sacred cycles of Life and Death. I'm also deeply influenced by Mythology - especially the ancient Greek. The Magic of the universe is my inspiration.

Wendy Rule creates music in a category of its own. Dark, rich and emotive, her music reflects her love of Mythology and her spiritual path as a Witch. Wise and beautiful Pagan music.
She has released five full length studio albums ( Zero, Deity, World Between Worlds, The Lotus Eaters, and The Wolf Sky) as well as a recent Meditation album. Her live performances are truly unique. Whether performing solo, or with a full band, Wendy blends ritual and music to create an unforgettable experience for her audience.

Some bold new artistic statement? Nah, Just us being silly!!! We did this track for our label's "Black Snow - the completely different Xmas compilation". (and of course, visit our youtube channel for a high quality version)
Wishing you a very silly Silly Season and we'll see you back in Australia sometime in 2010!
I will try to come up and say hello (I'm sure everyone will be trying to be talking to you!) Today I was actually sitting outside and attempting to sing and play 2 of your songs. I've tried to work out the basic chords in 'Animus' and 'Deity', they're both 2 of my favourite songs. So beautiful.
