"It was my pleasure singing and playing with you Whitney. You are very talented and I look forward to working with you again. Rockaway. Robin "

Who is Whitney Steele? A question that gets asked a lot; an answer you would expect to be quite simple. Whitney is a dreamer. And like most dreams, they can seem so clear, yet so hard to explain moments later. Whitney chases her dreams with a vigor and determination that can only be viewed as inspiring. Whitney’s acoustic songs are born, not just written. Her music is her heart, soul, and being. She’ll tell you about her triumphs and her tragedies. Her desire is to move you, make you think, and help you feel. Whitney’s music does just that!
Whitney is compassionate and honest. She believes people are basically good, but she’s intelligent and savvy enough to negotiate her way through the entertainment industry. You need only to understand that her music is her life, but her priorities are her family, friends, and loved ones. Whitney embodies the old fashion values of strong work ethic, determination, and moral principles to make her mark in the entertainment industry. She won’t push you out of her way to get ahead, but she will pass right by you if you fall asleep at the wheel.
The entertainment industry woke up to Whitney when she was selected as 1 of 5 finalists from more than 300 AT&T/Cingular Music Studio artists nationwide to compete for a chance to perform You Won't See Me Crying on an episode of the hit show One Tree Hill on the CW television network. Gretsch Guitars selected Whitney to debut one of the four guitars in the Gretsch Americana series in her music video for Storm Warning. In 2007, she was nominated best pop single of the year for the Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards. Her hard work didn’t stop there. In 2008, Whitney took Arizona by storm when she won best singer/songwriter, best pop single of the year, and best music video of the year at the Phoenix Music Awards. She then took her show on the road and took home a nomination for best music video of the year at the Los Angeles Music Awards. Most recently, Whitney had the honor of singing The National Anthem for the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.
One of the biggest compliments in an artist’s career takes place when established artists begin to take interest. That happened when Scotty Johnson (lead guitarist of The Gin Blossoms) joined Whitney and her band on stage to perform at The Arizona Broadway Theatre. Robin Wilson (lead singer of The Gin Blossoms) lent his golden vocals in Whitney's song, You Won't See Me Crying. Whitney’s self titled second album will be released June 23rd, 2009. Scotty Johnson and P.H. Naffah (best known as the former drummer for the Refreshments and current drummer for Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers) joined with Whitney to lend their talents to Whitney’s hard work.
In the end, Whitney Steele is blue jeans and a guitar, she is pajamas with one part goof ball, and she is a smile and warmth that invites you to share in her dreams.
"Working with Whitney on her first full length LP has been a great experience to say the least. Pay attention to this name folks "Whitney Steele" it will soon become household. "

So..... I've been watching that video you posted on my site (very funny by the way) but now I have questions...
You know me, things have to make perfect sense!!
First off I wanna know why George Michaels thinks I ought to have Faith so bad?? I mean who is this girl and why do I need her so bad?? What if I like someone else??
Second what would George do with Faith if he got her??? Shouldn't the song be more like "I have to have Fred, Fred, Fred"?? I think that's way more in his league......
Whitney dearest...may the sun shine all day long, may everything go right and nothing go wrong, may those you love bring love back to you and may all the wishes you wish come true. Have a fabulous weekend and do take care always...Chito!!!
Whitney, we just rediscovered your latest CD and are loving your music! You are the new Hannah Montanna to my baby sister (who has idolized you since she met you on the pumpkin patch field trip with Mrs. Mirr's first graders!...you probably don't remeber!) :P We love hearing your sing at Desert Ridge. My best friend from Chandler called me the other day and said "Whitney Steele was signing her heart out in my nail salon, don't you know of her?!" So cool that you are doing that! God Bless you!
