Electric, acoustic, synthesizer or even fretless guitarist, We have seen him playing in every kind of band since the past decade in numerous clubs and Festivals. He is well appreciated for his compositions and his melodic sense of improvisation. His preference goes to the trio where he can play in the smoother way but also in the most crazy one He plays compositions of his lasts albums but also any kind of cover taken in the Jazz, Pop , Rock repertory, or even movie soundtracks.
Yannick Robert is also one of the most famous pedagogues in France. Ibanez schools manager, permanent member of the Music Academy International of Nancy, he wrote a lot of books about improvisation, phrasing, finger playing, , and he is invited in numerous clinics and masterclasses. All these activities contribute to enlarge his audience.
