Hi. My name is Dave. I write music. I perform music. Mostly acoustic music.
You like music. Maybe acoustic music. I hope you'll like my music.
I live in Los Angeles. I was born and raised south of Detroit. I recorded south of Columbus...Ohio.
Speaking of recording, my debut record, Trouble and Debris, is available here.
If you enjoy my music, please come see me play. Tell your friends. Take them to see me play. Post the banner below all of this on your page. Or just listen in peace knowing that at no time are you required to perform any extracurricular task and have completely fulfilled any and all obligations.
If you don't like me, no hard feelings. Go about your business and enjoy your Dave Carducci free life.
I'm sorry about your poor taste in music though. That's a bummer for you.
Well, thank you for stopping by. Whether it be for the first time or the hundredth time, I greatly appreciate it. And if you haven't already, please add me as a friend.
"What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?"
--High Fidelity
"If we, citizens, do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams."
we too had a great time. thanks for doing that song with us. you put on a wonderful show, as usual. we look forward to next time. hopefully we'll have a video soon.
Dave! It was great talking with you on Saturday! I'm sorry again that I didn't get a chance to see your solo set this time - but I did have to say that you and the band were absolutely SMOKIN' on Saturday! During Julie's set - when you all played 'Unchartered Waters' and then 'Oh! Darling' - it was nothing short of AWESOME! Cool job on the Bass (on 'Drink Myself Pretty') too. Look forward to seeing you again sometime soon Dave! Very best to you and Take Care, David
P.S. - I like your song 'Absence of Youth' - the strings sound great!
