"Volevo il movimento, non un'esistenza quieta. Volevo l'emozione, il pericolo, la possibilità di sacrificare qualcosa del mio amore. Avvertivo dentro di me una sovrabbondanza che non trovava sfogo in una vita tranquilla"

Fabio Anile studied classic piano from his childhood and growing as a keyboardist worked live and in studio with many bands and musicians in Sicily (Studio Reporter, Blue Shine, Domino, Sebastiano Gibilisco, Raffaele Gulisano e Davide Olivieri etc..), and in different contexts, from rock to ethnic music, from electronic to soundtrack.
In 1992, under the name "Suite Verlaine", co-founded an ambient band with songwriter and guitarstis Franco Ferrara. Inspired to the aestethic of Baudelaire, Rimbaud and Verlaine, that project became a visual-music installation, presented at "Fucktory", that took place in 1994 at "La Porta Rossa" art gallery, in Catania.
In 1995, Fabio autoproduced his first solo demo, titled "ParallelaMente", a work of electro-acustic loop-based music, soundtrack-oriented.
In 1996 moved in Rome, where co-founded the "enoLogica", a loop-based trio inspirated to the Brian Eno's ambient works and experimentations. The band produced "enoLogica" in 1999 and "Cuglio Nero" in 2001, performing live in the Roma area.
In 2004, Fabio started the "eterogeneo" solo project, oriented to explore minimalism and ambient music.
The music Fabio creates playing just a piano can be defined as minimal, ambient, electronic glitchy, His music ranges from atmoshereric film style sountracks to a dark-glitcy ambient music. It's not a pure "wallpaper" neither a "focused listening" type ambient, rathar Fbio's music bridges this gap neatly and allows the listener the choice to be either transported or remain grounded depending the mood of the day.
CT-Generative Music project (a CT-Collective release, 2009)
The generative process of this Ct-collective project employs the phasing of audio loops of different length in some tracks, where, for example, a single melody is repeated and at different times other instruments will fade in and out in a complex, evolving pattern due to the phenomenon of phasing: at some point these instrumental sounds will clump together, at some points, be spread apart.
The final result of both projects shows musical unexpected "musical" content, even if it’s clearly “background music”.
The CDs can be played back in shuffle mode.
On my website, I have provided a generative room that contains players for each source track. You can start and stop the different players, getting new pieces of music every time. The possible combinations are infinite. Check it out !

CT-Generative Music project (CT-Collective, 2009)

Here you can download for free the CT-GREAT SPEECHES project.
The focus on this project was to to compose a music to "furnish" a famous speech. A "great speech" is a speech that has a relevant historical, religious, political, artistic or social content.
GREAT SPEECHES is a CT Collective sub-project.
The CT-Collective was originally started by Michael Klobuchar as a chain tape group; that is, as a group whose members recorded music by mailing a master tape throughout the United States and Europe. The finished tape was then cleaned up and distributed to the members as a CD. No one got paid for any of this, and the organization, mastering, and mailing of our collaborative projects was done by members who volunteered their time and resources.
Since then, we've started to do more than one project at a time, and we've also decided to streamline the recording process by having people simply mail their contributions to the person mastering the project. After this stage, copies go out to other people who have volunteered to duplicate CDs and distribute them to the contributors and to other interested parties.
As part of our effort to streamline what was otherwise a rather cumbersome process, we have organized a main mailing list through which all projects are now coordinated. As projects get underway, they get their own mailing list.
