   About marky:boyofdestiny
I've always loved music, guitars mostly, and it was inevitable I would have a go at it one day. Bands don't seem to be my thing so I've found contentment in steering my own ship through the musical ocean of love! In saying that I do love having other people around to help me out along the way. Isn't that what life is all about eh?? I hope you enjoy my music as much as I have enjoyed writing and recording it for you. If you do, say hi, I likes people.

It's not brutal...i'm just making contact because I miss you, and my lack of imagination, wit and charm means my commentary is limited :-)

I need to come see you and the missus, it's been too long ;-)

mwah!

WOW - love your sound, especially the song "Last Release" - great tune! I like the harmonies and guitar tone too!

Thank for the add - hope you dig our sound too - it's a pure pop thing, but we like it. Check out out "Too Heavy" or one of our other five tunes on our site - they're available to download (for FREE) and share with your friends.

Oh yeah, thanks for the add! Looking forward to hearing more from you! Keep up the great work.

The Ballachulish Hellhounds

May 27 2008 6:20 AM

Howdy , Just a wee message to let you know that The Ballachulish Hellhounds will be playing at The Vale, Glasgow on saturday 31st May.
Complimenting our line-up for the first time are Ian Fraser (Bass) and Sara Cull (fiddle)
Expect the usual good natured Old Timey/Bluegrass mayhem and a whole bunch of new tunes.
Theres another 3 bands on the bill , James Hara, Jim McAteer and Paul Malcolm.
Its only 4 bucks on the door, much cheapness :)
Hope to see you there!!
Cheers

Apr 24 2008 6:16 PM

Hey! How's the weather over there? I just want to let you know that i'm coming to the UK in late May/early June to play bass with Kevin Montgomery and Tommy Allsup. Tommy played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens. I figured that with you being a musician that you would really be able to appreciate this show.
We play a series of shows in Scotland....St. Andrews, Edinburgh, and Irvine (near Glasgow). I hope you can make one of those.
We won't be doing my material, but it is a really special show, and Tommy is a true rock'n'roll legend.
Anyway, take care and hope to see you there.

Apr 20 2008 12:50 PM

Hi there Marky. Hope you are well.

We have a new song up, "Dogs" - a chilling tale of canine revenge. Unusually for a My Pilot song, it is quite upbeat and even has a discernible tune. Check it out if you have a spare 3 minutes 40 seconds.

Cheers

The gig is for Kidney Research and there will also be RocketFox, Mick Drain, Mindset and Page6 on the bill.
The evening will lead in to an aftershow party hosted by Steg G (sunny govan radio) and the excellent Corduroy Jack.

Its a great charity and every penny from the night goes to Kidney Research.
Hope to see you there.
