Matthias Desch, born in 1978 in Kirchham (lower Bavaria, Germany) grew up with guitar music such like blues, rocknroll and industrial. a few years later he fell more and more in love with jazz, funk and soul. after visiting club bogaloo regularely since 1998 he decided to collect vinyl of some classic old jazz to downbeat, broken beats, hiphop&soul up to so called phusion and future jazz. after several years it was inevitably to become a jazznerd. playing dj-sets since 2001 he has already visited clubs in germany and austria. His sets are a reflection of his vinyl collection, always spiced with that touch of soul and influences and teachments of proper pioneers such like Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Jazzanova or Domu. After entering the bogaloo collective in 2003 today he collaborates with Alex Gluth and the BeatsnFrames Crew from Landshut. He does reviews on new published records and he hosts the bogaloo radio show which started in 2004. Furthermore he runs the monthly “fillin’ the gap” evening in Regensburg. One says it is not always the easiest way to play this kind of music in germany but he remains himself faithfully and keeps on teaching interested listeners steadfastly to recruit more members for the so called Complex Music Camp – on and far beside the dully straight 4/4 bassdrum...

SCHLACHTHOFBRONX (Hypie Hypie, München) Disco Trash Music (Freakz Me Out, Scala)
