I think most singer-songwriters or musicians who love what they do have experienced being in that magical place of utter contentment while performing; some call it being in the zone, while others call it being home...or maybe that's just me. I first felt that while playing at a little student folk club in England. Some time later I wrote my own songs and performed them at wonderful venues such as NoBlackTie, Actor's Studio Bangsar, and KLPac in Kuala Lumpur, Acoustic Routes in Cambridge, UK, The Esplanade in Singapore, and most recently for the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival 2008. 'Feels Like Falling' was recorded in 2003, and went on to win the top download award on musiccanteen.com, 2005. 'Do you see me like you' was written for an award winning documentary called Alice Lives Here (Freedom Film Fest, KL, 2005), and 'My Time' for another documentary on the collapse of the Highland Towers (Freedom Film Fest, 2006).

Just got your CD today. Haven't heard it yet so I'm not exactly in a position to praise/criticise, but I have heard Feels Like Falling and Do You See Me Like You which I think are absolutely beautiful.
Are you going to be playing any gigs in KL anytime soon?

It must be so exciting making your own CD :). Have you finished recording it? Best of luck. Perhaps itunes or something similar would be the best way to distribute the CD? Please do let me know if you are performing in London - I will certainly be there :).
I love your new song Sleeping; your lyrics are profound and reflect how a lot of people spend their lives. It's got a different sound from your other songs - I really enjoyed it :). When is your album coming out?
