About me: Miranda Rondeau is a singer, songwriter, musician and frame drummer. Her vocal style transcends language, bypasses the intellect, and is devotional and invoking in nature.
She has been performing since 1994 both as
a soloist and within various percussion ensembles throughout California and within the U.S.
She recently performed at the annual frame drum festival
in Freiburg, Germany called Tamburi Mundi 2009.
Miranda is often invited to perform, as the opening music for many events including :
NAFDA concert at Tamburi Mundi Drum Festival 2009,
Raw Lifestyle Film Festival 2008,
The Good Medicine 2008-07,
American Frame Drum Gathering 2008,NC,
Gaia Festival 2007, Elevate Film :Parallel University 09, Project Butterfly events 09,
REMO RMC Drum events as well as the NAFDA West California Frame Drum Festival 2009.
Miranda has opened up for Jai Uttal, Stellamara, Mystic Journey, and Hamsa Lila.
She has also performed at World Sacred Music Festival. Live H2O, Center for Conscious Creativity, Green Long Beach Festival,and Celebrate dance Festival, San Diego.
She has performed or worked together with Rowan Storm, Judy Piazza and Marla Leigh and most recently with David Kuckhermann, and N.Scott Robinson.
Miranda brings her intuitive instinctual experience and relationship to the drum to her performance and workshops.
Miranda has taught frame drum workshops at the World Sacred Music Festival,Gaia Festival, REMO Music Center,Project Butterfly,Goddess Studio & Mental Health Centers as well as at yoga studios,universities,colleges and elementary schools
Miranda initiated the "Women Frame Drumming" myspace to bring awareness of the presence and growth of women frame drummers around the globe.

Thanks for the add. This program you sponsor is very exciting! It is great to see a workshop of female drummers, really announcing women as having the ability to be just as accomplished as men, and giving the opportunity for so many aspiring female drummers to study and acquire roll models.
