About me:

I write and draw the weekly newspaper cartoon Making It - A Survival Guide for Today. Here's this week's cartoon:

You can see dozens more of my cartoons at makingit.com.

Are book collections available? Why, yes! Check out this video:

I've done cartoons, illustrations, and articles for Playboy, Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, The Los Angeles Times, The Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS), Fire Rescue, Private Pilot, Western Dairyman, and many other publications. Examples are posted on the aforementioned makingit.com web site.

In the early 1980s, I managed the design and development of Intellivision video games at Mattel Electronics, including TRON Solar Sailer, Shark! Shark!, Thin Ice, and Hover Force.

Today I run Intellivision Productions, which celebrates the impact of video games on pop culture. Play your favorites again on Windows, PlayStation 2 and other platforms! Learn more and find links to play free Intellivision games online at intellivisionlives.com.

In the early 1990s I was president of the Manhattan Beach Historical Society. During my tenure we rescued the city pier from demolition, restoring it to its 1920 glory, and we saved one of the last turn-of-the-century beach cottages, converting it to an historical museum.

And I used to work in television and film special effects. I contributed to Masada, Little House on the Prairie, and the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special.

Recent Photos:
Keith Robinson & others in the National Cartoonists Society (NCS) booth at Comic-Con 2008:

Who I'd like to meet:

Intellivision fans. Other newspaper cartoonists. Anyone who has actually watched The Star Wars Holiday Special.

Where You Can Find Me:

CLASSIC GAMING EXPO - NOT THIS YEAR
I previously announced here that you'd most likely find me at the Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas this August. Well, the organizers of the event have announced that there will not be an Expo in 2008. They were unable to find an appropriate venue in Las Vegas for this year, but they are promising to back in 2009. Intellivision Productions has been a sponsor of the CGE since 1999 and I've been there in the Intellivision booth each year, so I expect I'll be there next year! This is the must-attend event for fans of classic arcade and video games. You can learn more about it on the CGE MySpace page.

NATIONAL CARTOONISTS SOCIETY REUBEN AWARDS
I'll be attending the 2009 Reuben Awards, held in the Renaissance Hotel at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California, May 23-25, 2009.

Well, that's a disgusting picture below my comment. I'll be happy to keep commenting until it disappears.

Great cartoon, though, Keith. I say if you have the money, why not? Also like your new sig. Colored pencil, anyone?

You now have 50 more friends than me. When it reaches 100 you owe me pancakes.
