Free Music And The Food Bank

In these uncertain times, fear of the future can cause the average person to “Hunker Down”. After all one never knows how long or how rough these times will be. Even though the demand for services from organizations like the food bank increases incredibly in times like these, fear causes the supplies provided by donations decreases. This is a double whammy that causes extreme difficulty at a time when the need for such services is greatest. Unfortunately the Food Bank doesn't have an advertising budget to raise the awareness needed to overcome this situation.
As an artist I am now blessed to be at a point in my life where I'm fairly secure, but there have been times in my life where if it wasn't for the Food Bank, I would have gone hungry. Also my studio is in the inner city of Edmonton Alberta, and like any large city we have our share of homeless and working poor. For these folks the Food Bank is a regular stop, yet in times like these they suffer because of the shortages caused by the extra demand. I see this close up on a daily basis, and it is heart
breaking.
I have decided to do my part by giving away my music. It is free for downloading on my profile page. All I ask is that if you like my music please make a donation to your local Food Bank. And if you don't like it....please make a donation to the Food Bank

Blessings to everyone.

Thoughts

Wink in, flutter about, wink out
Touch all you can, but try not to break anything.

Enjoy the art of learning. Read. Read.
Read
If mom told you life was fair. She lied.

If dad said you can..t play fair. He lied.

It..s not Gods fault, do the math, there..s just too many self centered people
If you spend more than half your life truly happy. You..ve won
Acceptance is the key
Give of yourself unconditionally. Love unconditionally.

You may get hurt. Oh well.

You may get used.
Oh well
You will make mistakes.
Oh well
Bravery is not the absence of fear. It..s doing the right thing in spite of it.

Dream your dream. Live your dream.

If you stumble. Oh well.

Dream your dream. Live your dream.

There is a God.

He or she dosen..t follow any particular religion.

Pray however you like, Just pray.

Sing every day, dance every day, laugh every day.

Try not to grow up too much.

To quote a very wise man. "All you need is love.
"
Wanna know a secret?

Hi Oneal.

You're very welcome. :)

Hope you get the chance to enjoy the warmer weather tomorrow or later on in the spring or summer.

School is going well, thanks. A little stressed at the moment with finals coming up and fees to pay, but other than that, it's been good. :)

Good to hear life has been rewarding for you.
Anything in particular that's surprised you the most lately?

Hi Oneal. Stopping by to say hello. :) Hope you've been out and enjoying the spring weather.

As far as poetry goes, haven't heard word back from Coteau Books yet, but I'm hoping to hear something by the summer. They said it might take awhile. Other than that, just been keeping busy with college and church.

How has life been treating you? Anything new? :)
