Sounds LikeImprovised music. It can sound like a film soundtrack, post-rock, free jazz, world fusion, improv noise, loungecore, ambient polka, big band, a little bit of each or like nothing on Earth. Often dissonant and experimental, but equally often soothing and harmonious.

Hi how ya doin?

A Future Without presents:
Throwing Snow, Footnotes Part 1 EP

5 tracks of organic sounding, broken beat driven electronic bliss.

Throwing Snow has been compared to the likes of Bonobo, DJ Shadow, Four tet, Xploding Plastix and Quantic.

Jon Kennedy (Tru Thoughts/Grand Central) - 'SUPERB TUNES'

DJ m.path.iq (D:Bug Mag) -
'What I can say is that I don't get unique music like that every day. Throwing Snow has got my full support. Love Listless, Glitter Clatter and the musicality in each digital detail. Ambient vs. Breakbeat vs. World Music vs. Folk vs. Simply Good Taste.'

Buy THROWING SNOW - FOOTNOTES PT 1 on iTunes

Orchestra Cube rule! Last week's "light fantastic" gig was both fantastic and (occasionally) light. Amazing to see a big crowd of people improvising and yet sounding 'together': orchestral, even. It's a great thing about Bristol that anarchic art events like this happen. Thanks for the add.
