About Raggalds Acoustic

Raggalds Acoustic is a new addition to the acoustic music scene in West Yorkshire. Our base is the Raggalds Inn, Brighouse & Denholme Road nr Queensbury just west of Bradford. Our aim is to bring you only the very best in acoustic music in a relaxed setting to kick off the weekend on a high note. The artists featured have been chosen because we know they can guarantee a great night's entertainment and bring something different to each gig. From the world music of Mambo Jambo to the incredible blues based guitar playing of Jon Gomm, there really is something to please the most discerning acoustic music fan every Friday night. SoundARC Promotions: Read blog before messaging us	Nov 29 2009 12:33 AM As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years. This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest! It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember! http://is-is.facebook.com/event.php?eid=128319530677&index=1

NEXT GIGS! 22nd May @ The Victoria Hotel, Keighley. 10th June @ The Primrose, Leeds. 19th June @ Keighley Catholic Club. 12th July @ Delius, Bradford. Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience. Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act.
